My son is autistic.
About five years ago he was miserable, throwing up every day and was unable to sleep through the night. Traditional medical prescriptions were ineffective. Since it is estimated that 50%1 of autistics have digestion issues, it made sense to try a nutritional doctor. It was a lengthy, time-consuming, and expensive process, but it was the only thing that helped relieve his conditions.
This website is dedicated to him and others who may have autism or other inflammatory conditions. Inflammation can result in all sorts of problems such as food allergies, ADD, asthma, eczema, alzheimer’s, celiac, colitis, and many others. Our focus is to improve digestion through diet, detox, and the usage of supplements. The last tab on the menu allows you to download about 20 of these GFCF recipes as well as click on a link to contribute to Golden Heart Ranch, a residential community for special needs young adults.

DISCLAIMER: I am not a doctor. This site is only to provide parents of autistic children with ideas about what areas to investigate. Each autistic child has differing conditions and things that work for them but not for others. I do recommend researching a nutritional doctor. If there is not one in your area, I know that many will do a consult over the phone or Skype.
